Philippine Tibetan Nyingma Palyul
Buddhist Center

Manila, Philippines
Established in 1992.

About the Center

Through the kind intercession of the late Venerable Chodak Gyatso Rinpoche - the resident spiritual advisor for the Hong Kong Palyul Center, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche accepted an invitation from his devout followers living in the Philippines to visit the country. In 1992, HH Penor Rinpoche travelled to the Philippines together with several important lamas. After seeing the conditions in the Philippines, HH Penor Rinpoche was overcome with compassion and agreed to open a Palyul center. Since then, HH Penor Rinpoche visits the Philippines and gives teachings and empowerments about every two years. Our first resident spiritual advisor was Kalsang Rinpoche. He was followed by Lama Gyurme. Currently, Samten Phunchhok Rinpoche is assigned to our center. He occasionally gives Dharma discourses and performs pujas upon request.

Weekly Pujas at the Center

Regular pujas are held at the Center every Saturday at 6 pm. Everyone is invited to join. For more details, please check our Calendar of Events.

We also have ongoing dharma talks on Ngondro Practice every week. Please contact any lama at 715-2090 to obtain the schedule.
